The Town of Fairview is a cozy suburb located in central Collin County, approximately 32 miles north of downtown Dallas. The population of Fairview is 10,683 according to the 2021 census with a median household income of $89,583 and a median home value of $408,200.

Those living in Fairview would tell you that it's a peaceful place to live with a close community feel. Nestled between McKinney and Allen, the community is marked by large houses on large lots, expansive open spaces, numerous horse farms, excellent schools, rolling hills, beautiful creeks, and the extensive Village at Fairview shopping area.

Fairview is also known for its great school system, making it an excellent choice for families with children. Fairview public schools are not only among the best in the DFW metroplex, but they are also among the best in the State of Texas. A majority of the town is in Lovejoy ISD and the rest is in McKinney ISD. The more notable of the two, Lovejoy ISD, has been ranked in the top 1% of over 1,200 school districts in performance in the State of Texas, and Lovejoy High School is ranked in the top 1% of all high schools in the nation by “U.S. News and World Report”.

Fairview is mostly residential, however, because of its close proximity to other cities you’re never far from fun. Allen, McKinney, Plano, and Frisco are all within a 25 to 30 minute drive and provide endless options for entertainment!
